I have been wanting to post some photos of Kate Singer's "Den" space from the 2012 Hampton Designer Showhouse. I had a chance to chat with the lovely Ms Singer who told me her inspiration for the room was the ocean and the natural beauty the surrounds the Hamptons. Oceanic blues and greys set the palette for the soothing gem of a room which was tucked between the living room and kitchen and faced the gardens. The organic textures and texture and tone of the ikat draperies by designer Kelly Wearstler blended beautifully with the rug and furniture and really brought the outside in.
