Taking New Clients and Life Lately

The above pictures are a little sneak peak at the newborn photo shoot Jylare did for us a couple of weeks ago. She also took pictures of the nursery! I can't wait to share them with you.

I can't believe it's already been 4 weeks since little Jane was born. It has certainly been wonderful but also overwhelming. We are slowly adjusting to life with two kids. Some days are better than others but overall the good outweighs the bad. I'm taking each day step-by-step trying to get back into the swing of things.

Running my Interior Design business has been rough this past year. With a horrible first trimester and then trying to stay afloat for the rest of my pregnancy I've had to turn away a lot of great clients. But I'm happy to say I feel like I can slowly start taking on new clients.

So.....

I am taking on a limited number of clients for this Fall! I'd love to help you make your home amazing.

To get started please fill out this form and send me an email!

Dream Nursery: Marissa Waddell

Today our dream nursery was dreamt up by Marissa from Roost who is also one of my best friends from High School. It's so fun that we both share a love of Interior Design. She has impeccable taste so I was excited to see what she came up with for a nursery. Here is how she describes her "Dream Nursery".

Thanks Marissa! Check in next week to see a nursery designed by Dina from Honey and Fitz.

I love the changing of seasons because it means a whole new stock of items at all my favorites stores. Target does not disappoint this Fall with the addition of some great new collections to their stores. I've pulled together some of my favorite pieces from their Timeless, Patch NYC and the Curiosity Shoppe collections.

Trending Now: Mylar/Metallic Wallpaper

Reflective surfaces have been trending big-time -- and I am really digging metallic/mylar wall coverings.   What do you think of reflective wallpaper? I love it, but just not for my house (how's that for courage!)... Anyway, if you are thinking of using it, I would advise putting up a liner underneath both to hide any imperfections in the wall and to make it dry strippable so that it can be removed and replaced when you grow tired of it.

Here are some of my favorite metallic wallpapers:

Still loving Thibaut's Shangri-La Collection

I adore Thibaut fabric and wallpaper and the Shangri-La Asian inspired collection (debuted in 2010) is still on my list of favorites -- I am still loving the Ting Yuan fabric in aqua.
