MEMORIAL DAY 2013 is such a happy occasion in our small town that we sometimes forget the meaning and solemnity of the holiday.
My family is one of recent immigrants, we came here from South Africa forty years ago and I think often how lucky we are to live in this wonderful country. We are truly blessed and grateful to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep us from harms way and secure the freedoms we all enjoy. Hope you all had a meaningful memorial day and a restful weekend.
