As a follow up to an earlier post, I had to share these photos of Celerie Kemble's Kips Bay 2011 Showhouse, which, sadly I did not see in person. The room is wonderful with just the right amount of drama and layering and it is worth seeing again. These photos are from that fabulous blog,

is the Verre Eglomisé "Sky" Ceiling created by
Miriam Ellner. Verre eglomise is the ancient technique of coating the reverse of a piece of glass adding metal leaf, adding color and etching patterns into it. Stunning.
